ABOUT THE OWNER

I always knew I wanted to dress different from everyone. At nine years old, I remember my favorite outfit was a pair of silver boots with multi-colored rhinestones. A white button-up shirt, denim skirt with a tie to match covered in gems. That day, I decided to comb my own hair due to being tender-headed. I took the basic hairstyle and made it my own. Being one of three siblings, every year my parents took us school shopping and gave us a small budget. I mastered how to get more for my money while making everything I wore unique. I looked forward to the first day of school just to show-off my style.

During high school, I stood out simply because of my bold fashions. I was the girl who loved bright colors, busy patterns, and mismatch designs.  Believe it or not, I got my start with styling hair in the handicapped stall of the girls’ bathroom. The money I made went towards buying the latest and greatest that I could finally afford.

Shortly after I became a young mother, I was forced to take on many mickey mouse jobs to raise my children. It did not take long for me to realize working for others was not an option. After being asked for hair advice and styling tips, I decided to take my love for both and turn it into a business.

  

Here I am again eight years later, a full-time hair stylist and now fashion designer. But it does not stop there. My love for art and creativity goes deeper than hair and styling. I would like to Introduce to you “Diamond My Designs” which simply represents beautifying!
